The Picnic Time Family of Brands: A family run company that began in 1982 on a cruise ship with two men from Italy, Mario Tagliatti and Gustavo Cosaro. The two met working in the dining rooms of cruise ships, and later started their business right in the picnic capital of the world, sunny Southern California. Now passed down to Mario’s two sons, Paul and Danny, who hold tribute to their late father and “uncle” with the same simple mission: Sell traditional European-style picnic baskets that everyone can afford.
